Help us find a legislator. We have until February 27th, 2012 to get an author for a ferret legalization bill. Please ask your state assembly member of state senator to introduce the bill.

Ferrets Anonymous was founded in 1993 to promote the legalization of ferrets in California. In addition to legalization it was decided to promote awareness and welfare of ferrets as well.
The legalization efforts were kind of moved to an unaffiliated organization, legalizeferrets.org. Often with the same people we promote legalization by the 3,000 Club, a weekly email newsletter called CLIFFNotes and various efforts to legalize ferrets.
A preliminary Environmental Impact Report has been submitted, legislation is being drafted for us to submit to legislators and others and we have testified in front of an unsympathetic and hostile California Fish and Game Commission.
