Preliminary EIR Should Have Legalized Ferrets

Preliminary Ferret Legalization EIR

This report done by Dr Geo Graening at Sacramento State University should have paved the way for ferret legalization.  Instead the Fish and Game Commission refused to acknoweldge it.  Then they said there is no point is reviewing it until the "go to notice."  And they won't "go to notice" until it is reviewed.  We have offered to pay for staff time for it to be reviewed but as usual, they are ignoring us.

Your Donations Help Ferret Legalization in California

We have until February 27, 2012 to get the ferret legalization bill into the Legislature.

Ten of the state's top ferret veterinarians are featured with information about their veterinary practice and their answer to our question - "what do you think every ferret owner should know?"

It is also our hope to help those who help California's ferrets-in-need.  We get in trouble when we use the word "rescue" but no one  should dispute we have an abundance of ferrets who need help.  Each purchase will benefit either Ferrets With Soul(e) a ferret shelter in Nevada that accepts ferrets confiscated in California, CDFEA; the California Domestic Ferret Educational Association which is an official rescue, or West Coast Ferrets which helps with ferrets in the Sacramento area.
