The egg comes with it's own brass stand and measures about 5.25" tall with stand. We are asking $22 ea. which includes shipping anywhere in the continental US.
If you are interested in ordering, please email Tracy @ hooligan@digitalpath.net with your choice(s). Payment can be made through PayPal to hooligan@digitalpath.net.
All proceeds go to ferrets with Soul(e) Ferret Rescue to help pay for food, supplies, medication & medical bills for the ferrets. We only have a few of these eggs & orders will be placed on a first come first serve basis.

The ferret round up is the annual meeting of Ferrets Anonymous. It is a requirement of FA's bylaws for an annual meeting where business is conducted. Since FA has been dormant for most of the past year I really hope we can get new blood and bring new life into the organization. Especially since ferret legalization is making so much progress lately.

We're Suing For Libel!
LegalizeFerrets.org has filed a small claims suit against the Department of Fish and Game for a statement given to the Desert Sun newspaper on January 24th. DFG Wildlife "biologist" Kevin Brennan told the newspaper that ferrets are "voracious predators" and a possible threat to the poultry industry.
The case is currently set for May 4th, 2011 at 9:30 am at the Kearny Mesa office, Department 1. It could be moved or DFG could make a request saying this is the wrong court to settle this matter. Doubtful they would want it moved to a higher court.
I'm very hopeful about this case. No doubt we have spent tens of thousands of dollars on polling, candidate surveys, reports, public relations, etc to get ferrets legalized and over come prejudices and misconceptions against ferrets.
The Department of Fish and Game has verifiable history of distortions on ferrets. They have admitted they have no studies to back up the "voracious predator" remark and did not answer our request for a retraction.
Because they feel free to make knowingly false statements it increases our costs of legalizing ferrets. It seems pretty simple on the face of it - but who knows how this drama will unfold.
But it will be the first time we've been allowed in court. If a small claims judge agrees with us it will put a major dent in Fish and Game's credibility so I am really looking forward to this.
More Ferret Legalization in the News
Two additional stories broke regarding ferret legalization.
Change.org did a nice article/blog on the issue. And they see the issue exactly like we do. Read the article here.
Paris Hilton is back in the news saying she wants ferrets legalized in California. The story is in a couple of celebrity news items, here is one example. I don't know who has less credibility, Paris Hilton or the media sources involved. We have tried to get Paris Hilton to help but could never get past her dueling agents - we never figured out who really represents her and she does seem to be the poster child for impulsive pet ownership, not responsible pet ownership.
In Conclusion
A lot in the works for ferrets and ferret legalization here in California.
Our TV Commercial should be available in a couple of weeks. Very excited that we will buying a little bit of air time and hopefully getting some free time to show our side of the story.
America's Family Pet Expo is coming April 15th through 17th. We have our booth and have lots of literature and extra 2011 calendars to give away. We will be signing up people for this newsletter and have a petition on hand where people can sign asking Gov Brown to go ahead and legalize ferrets. Anyone have any ideas to make our booth more successful? Also, let me know if you are interested in working a shift.
